For Seniors Only!   Medicare Seminar Schedule Changes

The Shepherd’s Center of Greater Winston-Salem and Senior Services, co-coordinating sites for the Seniors’ Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) in Forsyth County, are announcing a schedule change for seminar offerings:

Since Monday, March 18, Senior Services, Inc. will offer day-time sessions called Medicare Mondays. The sessions will be held every Monday from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Senior Services, 2895 Shorefair Drive, Winston-Salem.

Reservations are required. Contact Andi Reese at 721-6957 (or email areese@seniorservicesinc.org to reserve a seat (space is limited).

In addition to the weekly, day-time meetings, evening sessions will continue to be offered on a monthly basis by the Shepherd’s Center throughout the county on the first Tuesday of each month from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Walkertown Branch Library, 2969 Main Street, Walkertown, N.C. 27051.

Reservations are required. Contact the Shepherd’s Center (SHIIP) at 748-0217 (or email Info@Shepherdscenter.org  to reserve a seat (space is limited) or for upcoming meeting dates and locations.

The day-time and evening sessions are unbiased “101-style” seminars to help Forsyth County residents who are new to Medicare better understand their insurance options. Topics include Original Medicare Parts A and B, supplements, prescription drug (Part D) coverage and Medicare Advantage plans.
