Deltas from the Winston-Salem Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. have been on the move enrolling uninsured members of the community into an affordable health insurance plan.
The Chapter partnered with “Enroll America” and conducted phone banks over several days in the month of February.
The goal was to enroll as many individuals and families into a healthcare plan before the Feb. 15th deadline.
Chapter members made over 450 calls.
Families were educated on the benefits of being enrolled and appointments were scheduled.
