The Carver Yellowjackets obtained their first victory of the year last Friday, narrowly beating a scrappy Athens Camel team 20-19. If not for the efforts of Jamari Blackburn, Carver more than likely would have lost the game. Blackburn scored three rushing touchdowns of the evening, including an electric 88-yard scamper down the sideline in the third quarter that proved to be the winning score.
