Best selling and award-winning author Victoria Christopher Murray will have a book signing for her new novel “Stand Your Ground” in Winston-Salem on Monday, July 20 at 6:30 p.m. at the Carver School Road Branch Library, 4915 Lansing Drive.

“Stand Your Ground” is a new novel about two women who are faced with the same tragedy. Using the national controversy surrounding the Trayvon Martin case and “stand your ground” gun laws as the foundation of her story, Murray weaves a timely tale about race relations within the United States justice system.
